Hello, I’m Ryan, and on May 31st, 2021, at the age of 29, my life took an unexpected turn. I suffered a complete retina detachment and lost nearly all functional vision in my right eye. My world was forever changed.
Through this blog, I aim to detail the highs, lows and all the lessons learned throughout this ongoing journey. Importantly, I hope to raise awareness and foster a greater understanding of the realities of navigating life with a disability.
